East Point is the third largest city in Fulton County, though it offers a charming Downtown square, only seven miles south of the hustle and bustle of Downtown Atlanta. East Point sits on the front doorstep of the world's busiest airport, Hartsfield-Jackson International and is easily accessible to I-285, I-75/85 and MARTA.

The city is part of the Tri-Cities area including East Point, College Park and Hapeville. All are undergoing tremendous revitalization as close in neighborhoods attract increasing demand. The older bungalows around the square suggest areas such as Decatur, Virginia-Highlands and Midtown, but at a fraction of the cost. Housing prices have undergone tremendous appreciation due to increased demand for this well positioned housing stock but remain an exceptional value. The same is true for commercial spaces as the city begins to attract more and more attractive retail and office users, including a major regional shopping center (1,000,000+ square feet) on Camp Creek Parkway.

A recent Georgia DOT project created a beautiful pedestrian bridge. It spans the railroad that runs through the center of East Point and connects the Downtown square and the MARTA station to the Wagon Works and Buggy Works commercial developments and the south side of the city. This development is spurring further loft development and other housing such as a 50-unit townhouse development a block from the bridge.

The city boasts excellent medical facilities. The Wagon Works project is within walking distance of a Grady Healthcare center as well as the South Fulton Medical Center.

Affordable rents, excellent close-in location and infrastructure coupled with a strong labor force supply make this an attractive market for office and retail tenants.
