Ice House Lofts Commercial Space
The Atlantic Star Ice and Coal Company originally constructed this imposing structure in 1926 and operated the facility until the late 1960s as one of Atlanta’s largest producers of ice and coal. The building’s reconstruction, which incorporates the existing historic structure into a mix of nostalgic rehabilitation and design, received an award from the Decatur Historic Preservation Commission for its Adaptive Reuse.
The Ice House Lofts are a short walk from the lively Decatur Square. The commercial space beneath the residential lofts is ideal for a restaurant tenant looking to establish a presence in a thriving and vibrant neighborhood.
