Highland Oaks

Highland Oaks exemplifies one of Braden Fellman’s initial ventures into redevelopment, dating back to the early 1980s. Situated in what was once a blighted area targeted for a freeway project by the Department of Transportation (DOT), the plan fell through, leaving the neighborhood neglected. Braden Fellman capitalized on this opportunity, acquiring and renovating the two then-vacant buildings. These efforts marked the company’s first major development, transforming the properties into charming components of what is now the vibrant Virginia Highland neighborhood.
